All elected and appointed Board and Council members are responsible for reading, understanding, signing and abiding by the IACCM Conflict of Interest Policy.
INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR CONTRACT & COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT (the "Association") CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY
Personal Conflicts of Interest situations occur where competing interests conflict and impair the ability to make objective and unbiased business decisions. The Association recognizes that a Conflict of Interest may have a damaging impact on the individual's integrity and the interests of the Association.
In the context of this Policy, Conflict of Interest is a situation where a personal interest, relationship, influence or activity may, or may be perceived to potentially, conflict with or otherwise compromise:
their obligations to the Association;
the interests of the Association; or
the ability to make objective and responsible decisions on behalf of the Association.
Statement of Policy
No Director, Officer, Employee, a member of the Advisory Council, Academic Advisor or member authorized to organize Association activities shall use his or her position, or the knowledge gained therefrom, in such a manner that a Conflict of Interest arises.
To implement this policy, Directors, Officers, members of the Advisory Council, Academic Advisor and employees of the Association will submit an annual declaration through the Association's web portal and shall make disclosure prior to any relevant Board or Committee action, if not previously disclosed.
In the event that a Conflict of Interest arises in between annual submissions then the individual will promptly submit a revised form through the Association's web portal.
A report of these declarations will be reviewed by the Ethics Committee, CEO, and Board Chair on an annual basis. They shall attempt to resolve any actual or potential conflict(s) and in the absence of resolution refer the matter to the Board of Directors.
CONFLICT OF INTEREST STATEMENT
I have read the Statement of Policy of The International Association of Contract & Commercial Management regarding Conflicts of Interest.
To the best of my knowledge and belief, except as disclosed herewith, neither I nor any person with whom I have or had a personal or business relationship is engaged in any transaction or activity, or have any relationship which may represent a potential competing or conflicting interest, as defined in the Statement of Policy.
And further, to the best of my knowledge and belief, except as disclosed herewith, neither I nor any person with whom I have or had a personal or business relationship intend to engage in any transaction, to acquire any interest in any organization or entity, to become the recipient of any gifts or favors which are substantial in nature or to become involved in any activity which might be covered by the Statement of Policy of the Association regarding Conflict of Interest.
